Bridal & Special Event Hair & Makeup in Arlington, MA

Trials, day-of styling, updos, and the whole wedding party — handled calmly by a team that has been making clients camera-ready since 1991. Weddings, proms, galas, and every occasion that deserves more than a good hair day.

A wedding day is no place for surprises. We start with a trial, so the look is designed, tested, and locked in long before the morning arrives — and so you already know how long it takes and how it wears. On the day itself we keep to schedule, work through the party in order, and use long-wear products built to hold from the first photograph to the last dance. Soft and romantic or sharp and glamorous, the look is yours; the logistics are ours.

Why Jacqui’s

Part artistry, part logistics.

Bridal work is two jobs. The first is design — building a look that suits your face, your dress, and how you actually want to feel that day. The second is timing, and it is the one that goes wrong. A party of six running twenty minutes behind is how a morning unravels.

The trial handles the first. You see the finished look, we adjust it, and we note the products, the pins, and how long it took. Nothing on the day is being attempted for the first time.

The timeline handles the second. We work out who sits when, build in room for the photographer, and start early enough that nobody is being rushed through the part they were looking forward to. Thirty-plus years of weddings means we know where the time actually goes.

Good To Know

Bridal & event questions, answered

How much is bridal hair and makeup in Arlington, MA?

At Jacqui’s Design Group, day-of bridal hair starts at $250 and day-of bridal makeup at $175, so both together start around $425. Trials are $150+ for hair and $100+ for makeup. Bridal party styling starts at $175 per person for hair and $125 for makeup. We give you a full written quote after your consultation.

We strongly recommend it, and nearly every bride who has skipped one has wished otherwise. A trial is where the look gets tested against your hair, your face, and the light — and where we find out how long it actually takes, which is what makes the morning run on time.

Yes — bridesmaids, mothers, and guests, hair and makeup. Book early, especially for spring and summer dates, so we can hold enough time and stylists for the size of your party.

Several months ahead is ideal, and peak season dates go earlier than that. Call us as soon as you have your date and we will talk through timing.

Come with clean, dry hair washed the day before rather than that morning — day-old hair holds a style far better than freshly washed hair. Bring photos of looks you like, and any hairpiece, veil, or comb you plan to wear so we can build the style around it.
